About Us Yoga Alliance® New Zealand

Yoga Alliance® New Zealand is a Division owned and controlled by the parent company Yoga Alliance® with headquarters in Oceania, Europe  and the U.S. The parent company controls Yoga Alliance (Australia), Yoga Alliance (International), Yoga Alliance (Italia) and other Yoga Alliance organisations across the globe. These group of Alliances are not connected to and/or affiliated with Yoga Alliance (U.S) and they are considered the largest group of Alliances in the world.

The Alliances maintain a world-wide Yoga Teachers Registry to recognise and promote teachers with training that meets their high standards.

As the international support and educational organization for yoga in the world, we work in the public interest to improve the understanding of the value of Yoga, ensure that yoga teachers respect its history and traditions, and that the public can be confident of the high quality and uniform standards of instruction.
