Teacher (RYT) Membership Levels

The globally accepted professional credential for Yoga Teachers

Welcome to the YA teachers membership page. From here, you can view information on the various membership levels, requirements and benefits. Please note that Registration does not include professional insurance. If you require insurance, we work in partnership with Arthur J. Gallagher, one of the largest Australian Insurance Brokers. At our sole discretion we accept teachers registered with other organisations.

We register teachers that have completed Yoga Therapy training.

RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). Teachers can register if they have successfully completed a YTT/Yoga Therapy with a registered or non-registered YA-International school

RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). Teachers can register if they have successfully completed a YTT/Yoga Therapy with a registered or non-registered YA-International school

ERYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher). Teachers can register  if they have successfully completed  a YTT/Yoga Therapy with a registered or non-registered YA-International school and have taught a certain number of hours since completing a YTT

Master Yoga Teacher - Expert Teacher

Grandfathering

We grandfather Senior Teachers that have been teaching over 10 years full time but do not have formal certification. For Grandfathering, resume & letters of reference is required
